Life is deep deep desperation. You see people living in luxury with care-free lifestyles, but deep down they're extremely desperate people. With axioms that they're absolutely convinced are completely true. And that they follow no matter what. Desperately. Take Tony here.. A normal upstanding guy. Who's been taught all his life the common sense virtues of a Christian upbringing, and that have served him well. He's married. Has a family. And a career. And a nice home with a picket fence. But just last year he found out his brother, for whom he's always loved with all his heart, is gay. So what does his common sense upbringing lead him to do? The rational? Through a deep deep sense of desperation, he does something that by all ethical standards is beyond reproach. His heart does his mind's calculating into formulation as illogical as it is diabolical. Because he's spent a small fortune on a prostitute so sexy.. so heterosexually appealing that he's convinced himself it's right. That over the course of a year has fermented itself in the back of his brain into conclusion. And he's arranged a meeting with his brother, Ben, and her, to take place. His brother tied down to a bed..

A desperation so diabolical in it's premeditation as to stretch itself beyond the norm. Always breaking the rules. Always seeming to. His own brother. A prostitute unaware. And a turn on that would leave them two alone together in a diabolical sexual fantasy.

He walked away from his plan satisfied. Convinced he'd done right. Convinced that that light in that window was shining on miracle of his desperate doing. Not knowing any better? No. Not caring? No. But desperate.. An axiom broken that needed mending. A life normally left to it's own and happy, now bound. Of family. And subjected to an unnatural fantasy.

The fight was so much.. the air so thick. As though there were a fog in the room. And instead of what anyone else would have done upon realization.. something inside of her.. perhaps that switch that she turned on throughout her lonely career.. perhaps a wanting of knowing what it was like on the other side.. but something made her want it even more.

Made her want him to fight more..
