The summer before he was going away to college, Alex got a job at The Forest Hills Stable. This stable held horses belonging to the wealthiest people in the state. Alex was in charge of cleaning the stables, and various other menial tasks. It was hard labor, but the pay was decent, and Alex liked horses. An added bonus was the view of the beautiful women who came to ride the horses. They were all wealthy snobs, and of course paid no attention to Alex, but he sure loved to look at them. Writhing in pain, Alex grasped his stomach and rolled on his side. He was still trying to catch his breath when Emily came over to grab him. Using his shirt sleeve, she rolled him back onto his back. “What do you think you’re doing??” she screamed in his face. “You are supposed to be cleaning our stables, and we find you back here sleeping!!! I should have you fired!!!” Alex couldn’t believe this girl was screaming at him like this, but he could tell from her face that she was not kidding. “I..I…I just fell asleep for a few minutes,” he stammered. Pam and Emily looked at each other and laughed. “So, the stable boy thinks he is entitled to a break??” Pam sneered at Emily. “Well, my family owns these stables, boy, and I say NO BREAKS!!!” Alex couldn’t believe it – Pam was the owner’s daughter! She could definitely have him fired. “Please….I’m sorry. It won’t happen again, I swear. I’ll do anything….but I NEED this job!” An evil smile spread across the girl’s faces. “Did you say anything?” Pam snickered. “Well, um, yes, anything!” Alex affirmed. He knew that it would be nothing to these girls to snap their fingers and have him fired. What could they do to him anyway? “Ok then,” Pam said with authority. “Kiss my ass!” Emily started laughing uncontrollably. “What?” Alex was puzzled. He could have sworn she just told him to… “I SAID KISS MY ASS!!!” Pam screamed.
