Moments of light...hours of silence...engulfed in darkness..I bemoan my wish...
The rain pounded the roof as me and my buddies encircled the table in my living room. It was Saturday night and we were into a game of Dungeons and Dragons. Not the role-playing part of it, but the battle system. Hundreds of miniature figurines dotted the table as well as cans of coke, snuff, and bags of munchies. I was a single professional man. My house was new and the guys loved to break from their families and take a night off at my bachelor pad. It was a time of laughter, sharing of ideas, and friendship that I will always cherish and remember. Paul was the game master that night and promised us a real challenge to take our armies and try to be victorius over what he had in store. So far, we had minor skirmishes and defeating the undead was not so hard. In fact, after and hour, Paul seemed a bit flustered that we tore through everything that came before us. As our miniatures curved around the hill, Paul's face suddenly bore a wicked grin. He pressed a button for music and as the dramatic pounding of drums and horns blared, he lowered onto the table a group of giants. They were clearly towering over our miniaures and we paused to look at each other with eyebrows raised. Chris raised one of the giants and admired the painting. "She's hot", he smiled. We all bent over to peer at what he held. Sure enough, one of the giants was a giantess. A queen to giants. Paul had painted her exquisitly. Such detail, we marveled at her breats, her tight animal skinned bottom and well toned body. She had pure white hair and fair skin. She was , after all, a giantess of the frozen north. I took the figurine and grinned. "Man! I'd love to be her slave!. Making love to giantess..what could be better then that?" The others grinned and Paul seemd to beam with pride that a group of professionals in their early thirties could drool over a painting of his. I held it up to the light. "Man! I wish she was real!" Suddenly, the house shuddered
as the heavens broke loose with a horrific lightning strike and sound wave that caused the lights to flicker and half of us to jump 3 inches out of our skin. Chris covered his ears. "Damn! That sounded like it was right outside!" We opened the door and looked out. True, the lightning strike has sawed straight down the side of a large pine tree causing many if its branches to have dropped onto the ground. Because of the heavy rain and other flashes, we shut the door and continued our game. The rest of the night went without a hitch. Even the pizza arrived on time. It was extra large.
Scene of house lights on at night fades as well as the music and laughter.:pimp:
